Due to a change in her living situation, this owner located in Littleton, NC is seeking new homes for her 3 labs by August 1st. She rescued these labs 2 years ago and all are heartworm positive. Because of Sundae's age and Logan's high energy, she elected to go the slow route and they have been receiving heartworm preventative for almost a year now. They are all spayed/neutered, current on their shots and like getting baths.

Dora

Dora is a very sweet and affectionate Lab / Mix puppy. She is up to date on her shots/deworm. Dora is doing great with her crate training, no accidents during the day or at night. We take brief walks/run on a leash, going very well. House training no problem or accidents. She loves to play and snuggle with her human and four legged friends. She loves kids, adults (male/female) and other dogs (large /small) and cats well they are just fun to chase! Then she will give up and look for a toy or another playmate. Dora is just adorable & fun puppy. Her energy level is typical for a puppy.

Logan

Logan - Chocolate lab, 67 lbs and 3-4 years old. House trained, LOVES his crate. Good with most dogs(don't know about cats, probably not) and I'm sure would be ok with children with supervision. Needs an alpha person with a firm voice. Can be destructive if left alone so I crate when going out. Had a malignant tumor taken off within the last year but vet feels certain she got it all and shouldn't be anymore issues. Does take OTC Ranitidine (acid reducer) 2X a day.

If interested or seeking further information, please contact the owner, Donna, via email.

Sadie

Sadie is a 6 ½ year old lab/shepherd mix and weighs approximately 85lbs. She is yellow with a white chest and paws, with mild black running through her tail. Sadie has primarily been raised as an indoor dog, and she would probably be happiest that way. Sadie is house trained and crate trained, and she obeys basic commands. She had obedience training when she was a puppy, and most of it has stuck with the exception of walking great on a leash. She still wants to be the leader, but she will heal when you tell her to. Sadie is a great girl who is well behaved and loves to play. She may be 6 years old, but she still likes to play outside and with Frisbees and a water hose just as if she is a 1 year old. Sadie has not been raised around other dogs and cats. She has been socialized at doggy daycare and plays with other dogs fine. She is fine with smaller dogs, but she is a bit intimidated by much larger dogs. I would not recommend her being with cats being that she has not been around them, and she likes to chase them. Sadie is good with children. She does sometimes fail to realize that she is as big as she is, but otherwise she is good and protective and will lay right next to them and will lay in your lap if given the chance. She is best approached in an open area, as I think she goes into protection mode with strangers when she is behind a closed gate or fence at home. I believe this is just her natural tendency to protect her home, but open the gate and she is great. She is great with people when in an open area. Sadie loves to have her belly rubbed and her back scratched. She loves peanut butter and all types of treats. She is not protective or aggressive with food or treats with the exception of special treats, like pig ears, puppy ice cream or larger specialty bones. Those specifically she should be left to enjoy on her own. Sadie again is a great lady who deserves a good home with owners that have sufficient time and energy to provide her. She is a great companion that just wants a lot of loving and attention.
