Your donation to our 501c3 non-profit organization will go directly towards rescuing and rehoming Labs in need in our community and surrounding areas. Your contribution will be used to fund much needed medical care, training, housing and other needs for the Labs we rescue. All donations to LRGR are tax-deductible.
Memorial Tribute or Gift
Give a special tribute in honor or memory of a special person. Your contribution to Lab Rescue of Greater Richmond will provide medical care for Labs in our program.
Employee Giving Programs
Do you work for Altria, Dominion, Genworth or another organization that promotes employee giving? Choose us as your non-profit and help us, help Labs!

Altria- is headquartered in Richmond and has a matching gift program. They will match donations between $25 and $30,000 to most institutions.

CarMax- is also a local company. Full-time, part-time, and retired employees are all eligible to take part in the matching gift program. CarMax will double donations between $25 and $10,000.Read more about the CarMax matching gift program.

Genworth Financial -will match up to $10,000 per employee each year. The company also has a volunteer grants program.

Dominion Energy - Eligible gifts will be matched on a dollar-for-dollar basis. • To recognize volunteerism, the donor may request a two-for-one match once per calendar year for a gift from $50 to $2,500.

Every dog in our care receives monthly preventative
$20-$25 Funds Basic Vaccines
We provide Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella
$45-$50 Funds a 4-way Heartworm Test
Heartworm disease can be fatal, if not treated
$100-$150 Funds a Spay or Neuter
We believe in preventing unwanted litters
$200-$225 Funds a Training Session
Many Labs are surrendered due to lack of training, Training gives them a 2nd chance.
$450-$500 Funds a Heartworm Treatment
We treat numerous Heartworm Positive dogs every year.
$1500-$3000 Funds a Surgery
Common surgeries include ACL/CCL, FHO, Entropion ( Eye lid Surgery) Broken bones
