Grits – A Gentle Giant Looking for a Soft Place to Land

Hi, I’m Grits! I’m a 11-year-old gentle giant with a calm, easygoing vibe. I love nothing more than hanging out with my humans — whether I’m sunbathing in the yard or stretched out at your feet while you relax on the couch. Being close to you is my favorite place to be.

I get along great with other dogs.  I’m a mellow guy, but I do enjoy a short, friendly game of chase with the other dogs — and I’ll admit, I like to chase a squirrel now and then, just for fun!

I move around pretty well for a senior! I can handle the five steps at my foster home with no problem, though a full flight of stairs would be tougher for me. I can still get up on the bed for snuggles — and trust me, I never turn those down.

My favorite things are simple: belly rubs, treats, soft places to nap, and being near the people I love. If you’re looking for a loyal, laid-back companion who will always be by your side, I’d love to be your new best friend.

Hi! We’re Gia and Bella

We’re 9‑week‑old Lab mix sisters, and we’ve already proven we’re tougher than we look. We survived parvo, and now we’re healthy, wiggly, and ready to take on the world — especially if that world includes a cozy home and a family to love.

Even though we had a rough start, we’re all about joy. We adore snuggles, gentle kisses, and curling up in your lap like we’ve known you forever. We’re playful, curious, and ready to explore new things every day. Toys, treats, exploring the yard, meeting new people — we’re excited for all of it.

Each of us has our own little personality, but we share the same big, brave spirit. We’re sweet, affectionate girls who just want someone patient and kind to help us grow into the amazing companions we’re meant to be.

We’ve already fought hard for our chance at life. Now we’re hoping for the chance to share that life with a family who will love us as much as we’ll love them.

Hi, I’m Teddy 🐾
A 2–3 year old chocolate guy with a cute little white patch and a heart that’s even bigger than my paws.

I’ve come a long way in a short time. When I first arrived, I was underweight and not feeling my best, but with love, good food, and some TLC, I’ve truly blossomed. I’m healthy now, feeling stronger every week, and ready to find my forever people.

I’m a gentle, easy-going soul who prefers life at a calm and cozy pace. I love naps (snoring included), chew bones, sunbathing, and being wherever my humans are — seriously, I’m your shadow. Personal space? Never heard of it. If you sit down, I will absolutely try to snuggle right in with you like a lap dog.

I take things slow with new people and new dogs, but once I feel safe, my tail starts thumping and the bunny hops come out — especially when food is involved. I’m very food motivated and eager to please, and I’m happiest with calm, low-energy dog friends who respect my vibe.

I’m still working through some separation anxiety, so I’m looking for a patient, loving home where someone is around more often than not and willing to continue helping me build confidence. With consistency and kindness, I keep making progress every day.

If you’re looking for a loyal cuddle buddy with a soft heart, soulful eyes, and endless affection — I might just be your guy.

Best Home Environment for Teddy

• Someone home most of the time
A stay-at-home parent, remote worker, retiree, or someone with a flexible schedule would be ideal. In Short, Teddy is looking for a home that values presence over perfection — one where love, patience, and consistency help him continue the amazing progress he’s already made. With the right setup, his separation anxiety is very manageable, and his reward is endless loyalty, affection, and companionship.

Meet Bentley!

Bentley is a 5-year-old yellow Labrador weighing about 75 pounds. He’s a happy, social boy who greets life with enthusiastic tail wags and quickly settles into a calm, affectionate companion.

Bentley truly loves people of all ages. He has lived with children from age 4 through the teen years and is very playful with them, often choosing to curl up and sleep beside his favorite humans. He’s also wonderfully social with other animals. Bentley does great with other dogs and has lived peacefully with cats his entire life.

An active and fun-loving Lab, Bentley enjoys fetch, swimming, and running around the yard, as well as going for walks. He has a medium energy level—excited when first meeting people, then content to relax and lounge nearby. When it’s time to unwind, Bentley is a certified couch potato who loves being close to his people. His favorite toys include Nyla bones and stuffed animals (though the stuffed ones rarely last long!).

Bentley’s personality in a nutshell:
A gentle, affectionate Lab with soulful eyes and a constantly wagging tail. He loves attention, enjoys both activity and relaxation, and brings warmth and happiness wherever he goes.

If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate Labrador who is great with kids, cats, and dogs, Bentley could be the perfect addition to your home.

Bentley is a very sweet, social dog who bonds deeply with his people. “Bentley will need a few meet‑and‑greets and a gradual transition to help him feel safe with his new family. Once he knows you’re his person, he bonds deeply.”
